Poetry

Memorial Day 2007
I'm sinking now
I'm going lower
I didn't die in Viet Nam
I didn't die since
I'm going lower
down where words get closer to you
some look you in the eye
some strike hard across the mind's antipode

Here's my death now
my metaphysical connection
with all who have fallen
Here where the pain hurts

Alas! I thank you all
I thank God too
I'm alive!

Awareness
The Winds Blow Older Now

One can hear aged wisdom in his ears. The blooming of each cherished moment all came back to him. The all seemed dreamy; they all seemed to fit this mold of exsistence.
Smiling wryly he pondered this random trip through life questioning the very seat of inward reasoning.
Comnig forth he rejoiced in all the miracles that befell him. The intutitve underpinnings that lead to God, Himself.
Neatly tucked away in the solitude of the moment he logged this twist of faith.
Now gazing at the night line of midnight he felt God surrounding his entire awareness.

Run Never Stopped

Run never stopped
the maleness of his drive
spoke of go in unprecedented numbers
the femaleness of her drive
spoke of more in unprecedented numbers

Run never stopped
like infinity it remained endless
no boundaries, no borders
it seemed to deliver everything
order, chaos, more and more

Run never stopped
it never looked at any part of stop
when the second p was introduced
and the past tense was invoked
it ran faster

Run never stopped
nor will it ever
it goes on and on
when finally it is out of sight
it keeps moving invisibly.
